Apollo Tyres Ltd. has made two management changes to optimise the team leading its North West Cluster operation in Europe.

Apollo Tyres Makes Strategic Management Changes Within North West Cluster Operation

Fabian Ezendam has been appointed the new International Key Account Manager with immediate effect. He will oversee some of the company’s largest international accounts, including Global Automotive Investment Holdings, LKQ, and the Automotive Group. He will work closely with local Key Account Managers to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience while managing growing demand and driving profitable growth across an expanding product portfolio.

Ezendam brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having held various Product Manager roles outside of the automotive industry earlier in his career at companies such as Colgate-Palmolive and Friesland Campina. He joined Apollo Tyres in 2010 as Marketing Communications Manager for Passenger Car Tyres and has since held a series of management and sales-focused roles, including District Manager and Key Account Manager. Most recently, he has served as Country Sales Manager for the Netherlands – the domestic market for Apollo Tyres’ iconic Vredestein premium tyre brand – a position he has held since 2022.

Erwin Groener Appointed as Netherlands Country Sales Manager

With this strategic leadership change, Erwin Groener, formally Channel Analytics & Market Acquisition Manager, will take over the role of Country Sales Manager for the Netherlands vacated by Ezendam. He will also retain his current responsibilities for leading international contracts with major car dealer groups and leasing firms.

Groener has been with Apollo Tyres since 2011, where he has held various roles in purchasing, project management, and account management, most notably within the company’s original equipment division. Prior to joining Apollo, he held several purchasing positions in the food and beverage industry in the Netherlands.

Both will report directly to Paul Eidhof, Head of Cluster North West at Apollo Tyres.

Eidhof commented: “These leadership appointments underscore Apollo Tyres’ commitment to internal employee development and align with our strategy to grow our market share in the Netherlands and across Europe. Fabian and Erwin’s experience and leadership are sure to help us drive further improvements in customer satisfaction and long-term business success.”
