Apollo Tyres has appointed Alexandra Matuko as Head of Cluster Central Europe, succeeding Tobias Morbitzer. Matuko will drive growth in Germany, Switzerland, and Denmark.

Apollo Tyres has appointed Alexandra Matuko as the new Head of Cluster Central Europe. She succeeds Tobias Morbitzer, who becomes Head of Marketing Europe with immediate effect. This strategic transition underscores the company’s commitment to further growth and enhances its presence in Germany, Switzerland, and Denmark.
Before joining Apollo Tyres, Matuko gained over 18 years of experience in the international automotive industry, beginning her career as a Key Account Manager at Formel D Group, an automotive service supplier. Following this, she held various expert and leadership roles in sales and marketing with leading car manufacturers. Most recently, Matuko served as Business Manager to the CEO and Vice President of Sales at Opel Automobile GmbH, where she was instrumental in driving the expansion of the international business and sharpening the global brand positioning strategy.

Matuko will report directly to Yves Pouliquen, Vice President of Commercial Europe at Apollo Tyres, as a key member of the sales and marketing management team.
