The Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC) published its monthly commercial market overview, showing an increasing registrations trend for light commercial vehicles (LCV) in Spain.
ANFAC March 2025 Overview
ANFAC overview shows a 15.1% increase in LCV registrations in March 2025, with 15,939 units registered. From January 2025 to March 2025, Spain had a total of 42,551 LCV registrations, which is a 12.5% increase compared to the same period last year, representing significant growth for this category. The March 2025 report shows Ford, Volkswagen, Renault, Fiat and Iveco as the most purchased LCVs in Spain during the previous month.
On the other hand, industrial vehicle registrations in Spain declined by around 15% in March 2025, with 2,220 registrations. From January 2025 to March 2025, the number declined by almost 13%, with 7,031 registrations. Truck registrations (>16t) had a significant decline, according to ANFAC, with a total of 1,802 registrations, 18.2% less than in March last year. From January 2025 to March 2025, there were 5,896 registrations, 13.3% less than in the same period last year. DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes and Renault Trucks were among the most purchased trucks in Spain in March 2025.
Bus registrations slightly grew in March 2025 (1.3%), with 395 registrations. From January 2025 to March 2025, the number grew by 4%, with 1,104 buses registered. Mercedes, MAN, Iveco, Ford and Scania were among the most purchased buses in March 2025 in Spain.
