The agricultural machinery sector in the United Kingdom witnessed a slight dip in tractor registrations for February, as revealed by the latest data from the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA).
February Figures Reflect Modest Decline
According to the AEA‘s report, tractor registrations totaled 477 units for February, representing a modest 2.1% drop compared to the same month last year. While any decline warrants attention, the extent of this decrease suggests a relatively stable performance.
However, when considering the cumulative registrations for the year thus far, a more pronounced downward trend emerges. With a total of 952 registrations for 2024, the year-to-date figures indicate a significant 15.8% decrease compared to the same period in the previous year.
