Trelleborg will present its tyres designed for material handling operations at Intermodal South America 2025, from April 22 to April 24, on booth L100.
Intermodal 2025: Trelleborg XP1000 and CX940
Trelleborg will present its XP1000 at Intermodal 2025, launched last year in South America. The tyre received a positive response, with increased production volumes and demand leading to an expanded range in new sizes. The Trelleborg XP1000 has been designed for improved performance in terms of mileage, durability, fuel consumption, comfort and stability. Its incorporated Pit Stop Line technology lets fleet managers know when to replace the tyres, reducing unnecessary downtime and waste while improving operator safety.
The XP1000 is produced locally and has a tread designed for sustainable success. The tyre features a fibre compound made from recycled materials, saving 866 tonnes per year on new materials alone while decreasing CO2 emissions by up to 110 tonnes per year.
At Intermodal 2025, Trelleborg will also present its tyres for port vehicles: the CX940 range. The CX940 is made with a robust casing and optimised tread design which ensures stability, traction and load distribution. Its wear-resistant compound reduces cuts and punctures, improving tyre lifespan.
“Being able to respond quickly and effectively to the specific needs of the South American market is essential,” said Alessandro Sacco, Sales Director of Trelleborg Tires in South America. “Thanks to our local production, we are bringing top-quality, high-performance tyres exactly where and when they are needed. We are not just supplying products; we are delivering advanced tyre technology built to match the pace and pressure of today’s logistics. Whether our customers operate in high-intensity ports or dynamic warehouse environments, they can count on Trelleborg Tires to deliver long-lasting performance, while ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness every step of the way.”
