Tyre manufacturer PRINX Europe draws an enormously positive conclusion after The Tire Cologne 2024. The Darmstadt-based company presented 24 tyres there, including many new products. The extravagant trade fair stand design even won over competitors. The on-site signing of the cooperation agreement with the Italian material manufacturer and retreading specialist Marangoni also met with great interest.
“Highly Effective, Went Brilliantly for Us” – Prinx Europe Draws a Positive Conclusion After the Tire Cologne
The Tire Cologne could not have gone better for PRINX Europe. The tyre manufacturer presented 24 products and its four brands on around 250 square metres – and they met with great interest internationally. “We had a constant stream of visitors and, to be honest, not enough space. A real luxury problem,” laughs PRINX Europe Marketing Manager David Oliva.
Customers, media representatives, and the passing public were inspired by the stand and encouraged to engage with the brands. “The very modern design of our exhibition space stood out in the crowd. We got a lot of people coming to talk to us about it, even competitors,” says Oliva happily. He sees the flagship brand PRINX presented just as optimally as the Austone, Fortune and Chengshan brands.
Wohlgemuth Hails Tire Cologne Success: “Outstanding for New Tyres and Partnerships”
Managing Director Thomas Wohlgemuth is also delighted. “I was on a half-hourly schedule for the whole three days. For us as a company, The Tire Cologne was outstanding. Together with his team, he presented completely redesigned tyres in the ultra-high-performance category for passenger cars and SUVs. The prototypes for northern climates and the newly developed AU902, a tyre that meets the specifications for electric buses, were the subject of particularly intensive discussion in the commercial sector. Internal tests promise enormous energy savings.
“I found the trade fair to be a highly effective platform. Both for the presentation of the new tyres and for the announcement of our cooperation with Marangoni,” adds Wohlgemuth.
Contract Signed with Marangoni at the Trade Fair Stand
The contract signing was the official starting signal for a close cooperation between Marangoni Germany and tyre manufacturer PRINX Europe, following a very successful collaboration in Italy. Thomas Wohlgemuth, Vittorio Marangoni, CEO of the Marangoni Group, and Marangoni Germany Managing Director Matthias Leppert signed the papers right there at the PRINX Europe trade fair stand to great public acclaim.
Marangoni is now offering its partners exclusive access to new Austone tyres. In future, some Austone tread designs will also be found among the retreading products from the Italians, meaning Austone carcasses can be renewed for a second life with the original tread. For Wohlgemuth, this is high praise for the in-house carcass quality – and a gain in market proximity to be even more successful in the truck fleet management segment. In addition, the ambitious tyre recycling concept and the parent company’s ESG report underline PRINX Europe’s seriousness regarding sustainability.
