Prometeon Tyre Group will debut its first Prometeon-branded tyres at Road Transport Expo 2024, showcasing the R02 Pro Trailer tyre and the full Serie 02 product range, with Prometeon’s CTO speaking at the ‘Future of Tyres’ Big Debate.
Prometeon Tyre Group Announce UK Debut of the First Prometeon-Branded Tyres at Road Transport Expo 2024
Prometeon Tyre Group will showcase the company’s first Prometeon-branded premium tyres at this year’s Road Transport Expo [RTX], which will take place at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, from 4 to 6 June 2024.
Marking its second time at the show, Prometeon is delighted to be returning and sharing the exciting evolution of the business with the UK debut of the new Prometeon-branded tyres.
Ali Yilmaz, Prometeon’s Managing Director UK, Ireland, and Nordics, comments: “RTX 2024 is the perfect platform for the UK debut of the first of our new Prometeon-branded premium tyres. We are proud of our heritage, and the evolution to Prometeon-branded products is a historical moment for the Group.”
“Since our foundation in 2017, all our tyres have been fully developed and engineered by Prometeon. In 2024, we are entering a new phase of our journey by putting the Prometeon signature on our tyres,” explains Yilmaz.
Prometeon Branded R02 Pro Trailer Tyres
At RTX, Prometeon will showcase the Group’s first tyres to carry the Prometeon branding—the R02 Pro Trailer—which is designed for maximum versatility and high safety standards on all roads and in all seasons.
With a completely new tread design and an innovative compound, the R02 Pro Trailer ensures low rolling resistance and high durability to optimise total management costs. The Prometeon R02 tyre also has a new reinforced casing construction, offering an increased load capacity of up to 10 tonnes, ensuring high strength and retreadability, even for use with high loads.
Serie 02 Range
The Prometeon stand at RTX 2024, GR38, is located in Hall 2A and will also feature the tyre manufacturer’s next-generation Serie 02 range of tyres, designed for regional, long-haul, and on/off-road applications.
Launched in 2022, the Serie 02 is engineered for durability, reliability, and performance, ensuring optimal traction and safety in various driving conditions. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, Prometeon’s Serie 02 tyres offer cost-effective solutions that maximise efficiency and minimise environmental impact.
The Big Debate – Future of Tyres
Prometeon’s Chief Technical Officer, Alexandre Bregantim, will participate in The Big Debate: ‘Future of Tyres’ panel discussion at RTX 2024. On Thursday, 6 June, The Big Debate will explore what’s new in tyre technology and how thinking differently about tyre choices can save road transport operators money and drive efficiency into their fleets.
Pro Services
The Prometeon team will also talk to RTX visitors about the Group’s Pro Services offering. From tyre monitoring and analysis to predictive maintenance and customised solutions, Pro Services is a suite of value-added managed services that enable fleet operators of all sizes and types to enhance operational efficiency, prolong tyre lifespan, and reduce overall operating costs.
Yilmaz explains: “By leveraging advanced technology and expert support, Pro Services empowers businesses to make informed decisions and to streamline their tyre management processes.”
Supertruck
Prometeon’s SuperTruck is a UK-wide network of tyre dealers that specialise in the Truck and Bus sector. They offer a wide range of tyre-related services and Pirelli-branded products, with technical support from Prometeon’s national tyre experts. The SuperTruck network was launched in the UK in April 2023 and has been successfully rolled out in other European markets, including Italy, Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland.
