Continental Roadshow has begun its second stage in Europe, arriving in Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona, after stops made in Irun and Seville.
The Continental Roadshow
Continental show truck, which has been on the roads for almost a year, bringing the ContiEuropeanRoadshow to partners and customers across the continent, has recently arrived in Spain for the second leg of its European tour. The truck will take the tyre manufacturer’s team to more than 30 countries, travelling a distance of more than 50,000 kilometres across Europe. Along the way, Continental will demonstrate its innovative ideas for efficient and ecological transportation for the future at various customer events, trade fairs and meetings.
The second leg of its European tour began in Madrid, after stops in Irun and Seville. The show truck has also visited the towns of Colsada and Pinto, demonstrating to the visitors the entire portfolio of the German company’s solutions. The truck also visited Zaragoza, on April 25 and it will finish its journey in Barcelona, on April 26.
Touring Europe
After its stops in Spain and Portugal, the Continental Roadshow truck will continue its Europe tour with another 16 stops in countries such as Italy, Austria and Switzerland. Visitors will be able to continue discovering all of the recent company’s solutions while attending events and round tables on key topics that affect their businesses. The show truck’s exhibition will cover five key topics: reduction of operating costs with the LODC consulting approach, special tyres for vans, tyres for fifth-generation commercial vehicles, digital solutions for the management of tyres and fleets, as well as solutions to increase fuel efficiency and sustainability, such as retreaded tyres.
Jorge Cajal, director of marketing and communication at Continental Tyres, states: “We are delighted to be able to support the businesses of our partners and customers in this way. Thanks to this interactive travelling exhibition, we can update them on the latest news and key trending topics in the market, while we provide them with everything they need to take their business to the next level. And all this in different locations on the continent.”
“The arrival of the Roadshow to the different Spanish cities allows us to showcase the wide range of beneficial, diverse and innovative options that Continental can offer to its businesses. All this, together with a unique platform to debate the crucial questions that companies ask themselves regarding transport, tyre distributors and vehicle manufacturers. In short, a unique event,” says the manager.
Ronny Nittmann, the professional truck driver responsible for safely guiding the show truck to each of the destinations, has already travelled more than 20,000 kilometres in 2023, visiting a total of 12 countries. Starting with the Baltics and Poland, Nittmann was travelling for 14 weeks, passing through Scandinavia and ending in Turkey. “I met a lot of interesting people along the way. Together with the Continental team, we managed to solve all the problems along the way,” says Nittmann. Additionally, Nitmann writes authentic posts of his experiences (with the occasional touch of humour) on the Continental Tour Blog.
