More than eight months before the start of THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022, the leading international trade fair for the tyre and wheel industry is right on track.
65% of Space Sold
THE TIRE COLOGNE takes place from 24 to 26 May 2022, and with early-bird booking now closed and the holiday period in Europe at an end, more than 65 per cent of the exhibition space has already been booked up.
“Numerous prominent national and international players in the industry have already signed up,” said Ingo Riedeberger, Director responsible for the trade fair at Koelnmesse. “The number of bookings made so far highlights the fact that the industry can hardly wait for this opportunity to meet up again at an international trade fair.” In total, around 400 businesses and brands from over 35 countries are expected to attend THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022 in Cologne to showcase their products and services.
To date, around 220 companies have confirmed that they will be taking part in THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022, among them notable key accounts from every trade fair segment. With the initial registration period now over, confirmed exhibitors from the tire and wheel segment include tyre manufacturers such as Bridgestone, Continental, Falken, Hankook, Nexen and Pirelli, plus tyre wholesalers Bohnenkamp and Interpneu, and specialist tyre retail network GDHS. Leading wheel manufacturer, Superior, will also be returning to Cologne.
In addition, there are numerous bookings from companies providing servicing and workshop supplies, tyre retreading and used tyre processing. In the workshop sector, suppliers such as Hamaton, Huf and Wegmann have already registered, while attendees in the tyre retreading and recycling sector include names such as Industrias del Neumático, Rekor Kaucuk and VMI. ZARE Group, the consortium of certified used tyre recycling and disposal companies, is also planning a collective presence.
THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022 is complemented by the digital TTC @home platform, offering exhibitors with a physical presence the opportunity to increase their online reach profitably and engage digitally with new target groups.
The event and conference programme for THE TIRE COLOGNE, which features a top-class line-up of forums, themed areas and special events, provides additional information and inspiration. The Global Retreading Conference (GRC) – the international event for the tyre retreading industry – takes place on 24 May 2022, offering a global platform for the discussion of relevant themes. Focal topics will include the role of tyre retreading in the context of the European Green Deal, the planned extension of the European tyre labelling regulations to include retreaded HGV and bus tyres, and the positioning and development of the global tyre retreading sector.
