Move Expert is teaming up with Continental to give customers the chance to benefit from Continental’s VDO TIS-Web data on Move Expert’s e-solutions application. The integrated software means customers in the 28 countries that Move Expert operates in can fully comply with the EU Mobility Package while gaining exclusive functions, such as analysis of driver behaviour and truck routes.
Move Expert Benefits from Continental’s Online Functionality
Move Expert is a leader in Europe for driver postings. With Continental’s VDO TIS-Web management software incorporated into Move Expert’s e-solution platform, this will allow Move Expert to comply with the EU Mobility Package, starting from 2022. Customers can also see the tachograph data within the company’s driver management platform. The arrangement will benefit both companies, as Move Expert can have a stronger vision going forward through developing enhanced services for drivers in Europe while Continental can have a stronger presence in Eastern Europe.
Importantly, the Mobility Package will bring about an unprecedented change in the road transport market and impact the ability to organise transport activities in compliance with social legislation in 28 countries. Having a harmonised European version of the national rating systems coming into force will increase the need to monitor drivers and keep track of infringements by companies.
Continental’s VDO TIS-Web integration will also give customers exclusive functions. This includes analysing driver behaviour and truck routes, managing postings of workers in 28 countries, obtaining legal assistance and receiving local qualified customer care in more than 15 countries and 25 languages. Companies from eastern Europe will especially benefit from the service. In addition to the upgraded interface of the Move Expert platform, thanks to VDO solutions for monitoring driver data remotely or in real-time, customers will be enabled to proactively coordinate driver and truck activities and reduce risks of infringements.
Continental and Move Expert Thrilled to Join Forces
