For the Swedish and Finnish markets, Apollo Tyres has established an exclusive distribution deal for Nordic tyre wholesaler Amring to supply Vredestein light truck tyres.
New Deal for Exclusive Rights Starts March 2022
Apollo Tyres will stop direct sales of its Vredestein tyre categories to retailers effective 1st March and will actively support Amring in further building its market share of the Vredestein brand in Sweden and Finland.
Apollo’s OHT and TBR product sales will continue to be sold directly through Apollo Tyres Nordic AB in all Nordic markets.
Ulf Wahlström, CEO of Amring, welcomed the move, saying: “Vredestein is a trusted brand in Sweden and Finland, and we are proud to be entrusted to take the brand forward. We have highly sophisticated commercial and logistics structures, which will help to improve the availability of Vredestein products across this important territory. Our latest investment into improved cross-dock solutions will ensure more efficient deliveries of the products.”
The deal is just the latest for Apollo, as it continues to expand its growing portfolio of OEM supply agreements across Europe.
