UK Agricultural Sales Down after 2021 Boost
Figures for 2021 showed a 15.8 per cent rise against a 13.8 drop in 2020, which can be seen as the market correction after the pandemic. However, 2022 saw those sales fall back but still with 11580 units over 50hp sold. The pattern through the year was a strong start tailing off towards the year end.
There were regional differences, with lacklustre sales across most of the UK, with the exception of the Home Counties, Yorkshire and Humber and the West Midlands.
The biggest sellers were John Deere and New Holland/ Case IH, which between them took 54 per cent of the market.
